Lake Erie Birds Class. Have you ever wanted to LEARN MORE ABOUT BIRDS???? These talks and walks will help the beginner birder to identify birds of the area and their habitats. Participants in this series will meet at the Bird Center (7:00 pm.) for three Wednesday nights (April 16, 23 & 30). As there is no substitute for time in the field, there are three field sessions - Saturday mornings April 19, 26 & May 3. Field sessions meet at the west end of the boardwalk at 8:30 am.

May 10 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
International Migratory Bird Day. A fun-filled day of activities related to songbird migration. Breakfast offered by Friends of Magee Marsh from 7 - 10 am at the Bird Center. Bird banding demonstration, wagon rides, food, optics tent, carver, and live raptors.
August 23 & 24 - 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Lake Erie Waterfowlers Festival. Duck calling, retriever trials, decoy contest, fishing pond and MORE happen here.
November 30 - Noon until 4:00 pm.
Wooden Feather Day. Vote on your favorite "carved" feather. Enjoy homemade cookies by the fire. A marsh walk is offered.
December 5th - 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
