Friends of Magee Marsh may receive gifts designated as memorials, to honor an individual or commemorate an event.
- At the entrance to the boardwalk there is an observation deck and artistic exhibit of Eastern wood warblers, which was made possible by a memorial gift.
- Another example is a two-level observation deck overlooking the marsh.
