Transportation Assistance Grant Program

The Friends of Magee Marsh is offering a grant program to provide transportation cost assistance to school groups wishing to travel to Magee Marsh.

These ten Grants are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

(Note: Grant checks will be mailed after the scheduled program has taken place and an invoice has been issued by the school)

  • Eligible Applicants ? All Ottawa, Erie, Sandusky or Lucas county school groups during the regular school year are eligible.
  • Amount of grants ? Grant monies will be up to $200 per school. Only ten grants will be given out for the current school year.
  • Submission: Grant applications shall be submitted after scheduling a program date with the Wildlife Area naturalist. Application must be filled out completely and approved by the school.
